World Wish Day

Make-A-Wish^® Massachusetts and Rhode Island will celebrate World Wish Day^® on April 29, 2013. World Wish Day is a global celebration of wish-granting to honor the anniversary of the very first wish that inspired the founding of Make-A-Wish. Since its inception, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 250,000 wishes around the world, including over 4,500 wishes for children in Massachusetts and over 1,000 wishes for children in Rhode Island. This year we are working to serve over 400 children and families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island alone. In honor of World Wish Day, please join us in helping to bring joy to children in need of the life-changing power of a wish by supporting our organization in one of the following ways: Make a financial contribution Your donation in any amount will help grant a child’s one true wish. Attend a Community Event Enjoy a local event while helping raise funds for Make-A-Wish. Start an online fundraiser Ask your friends and family to help raise money to grant wishes! Create a personal fundraising page to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, or to recruit sponsors for a walk or run. Donate your frequent flier miles to our Wishes in Flight^® program Your unused miles can help send our wish children to their magical wish destinations!
