Fenway Magic: Giant Glass reaches 130 wishes fulfilled

Type :Announcements

September 30th was a magical day at Fenway Park.  As the Red Sox celebrated their entrance to the playoffs, the Foundation celebrated a "giant" step forward for our wish children - courtesy of Giant Glass.

Dennis Drinkwater, President of Giant Glass, presented a check totaling $25,000 to the Foundation during a pre-game ceremony on the field.  The donation brings Giant Glass's total contributions over the years to well over $500,000 - enough to fund magical wishes for over 130 children.

For the ninth consecutive summer, Giant Glass supported children's wishes through a creative promotion called the "Giant Part of the Order."  Every time the third, fourth, fifth, or sixth batter in the Red Sox line-up hit a home run at Fenway Park, Giant Glass pledged $200 to the Foundation.

Beyond the Giant Part of the Order, Giant Glass has dedicated itself to the Make-A-Wish mission through event sponsorships, corporate contributions, and awareness campaigns.  Over 12 years and $500,000 later, Giant Glass continues to change children's lives with every swing of the Red Sox bat.
