An Ocean Voyage for Curtis

 

Onboard the majestic Disney Dream, the most challenging task for Curtis was choosing from the variety of activities each day! At Vibe, a private club for teenagers, he enjoyed socializing with new friends amidst recreational programs, movies, and plenty of music and dancing. He also frequented the AquaDuck, the world’s first water coaster at sea, and never tired of the gorgeous views from the sleek cruise ship as it wound its way through the Bahamas.

 

Curtis enjoyed his independence but also had plenty of time to create new memories with his family, including dinner together every evening and a bike ride around Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay.  Not one to sit still, he went snorkeling and kayaking, and his most treasured memory from the trip is living out his dream of swimming with dolphins!

 

Through his wish, Curtis and his family relished the perfect combination of much-need relaxation and fun-filled activities in a fresh, new setting. From his joyful time in a tropical paradise, Curtis has summoned new strength to continue facing his illness with determination and hope.
