Six-Year-Old Smithfield Girl Meets Grammy Award-Winning Artist

The Make-A-Wish Foundation^®of Massachusetts and Rhode Island recently granted six-year-old wish child Cristina, a Smithfield resident, her wish to meet country music star Taylor Swift. Cristina is diagnosed with a Wilm’s tumor and has dreamed of meeting the Grammy Award- winning artist for more than half her young life. On June 22, Cristina traveled by limo with her parents to the Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut where she and her mother met with Swift. Cristina and Swift spent time getting to know each other and posed for pictures. Cristina also brought her favorite wooden guitar to the meet and greet, which Swift signed.
