Community spirit shined on September 27, 2010, at Longmeadow Country Club, where more than 200 guests came together for Wish Night 2010. The event raised over $25,000 to grant wishes for children in Western Massachusetts.
The Foundation welcomed special guests Jim Welch, a sports editor for USA TODAY and Mark Herzlich, Boston College football linebacker and cancer survivor. Mark eloquently shared that his passion for football motivated him as he underwent treatments for Ewing’s sarcoma. His story illustrated how important it is to have hope and encouragement during illness – the very gifts that a wish gives to a child.
Thank you to all Wish Night 2010 Reception sponsors and guests for believing in our important mission and turning dreams into reality for seriously ill children across Western Massachusetts.
